Welcome! You are now entering Sacred Britain Tours. This is our twelfth year of leading travel tours to crop circles and ancient sacred sites in England.
These are our tours for 2008:
June 5th - 14th 2008
A pilgrimage to sacred sites in the beautiful and energetic Southwest of England.
We arrange private access inside Stonehenge and also guide you to little known sacred sites respected by the locals. On this very personal tour we will visit magical places energized by powerful currents of Earth energy in Cornwall, Glastonbury, Chalice Well, the Avebury Landscape Temple, Well's cathedral and Bishop's Palace, and much more.
By visiting sites that have been used for thousands of years by countless generations we're able to access the power and potential of the site and connect with the spirit of place. Our interaction with such places produces healing for ourselves and for the Earth. Many people have found this a transformative experience, truly a journey with soul.
May 4-13th 2008
Malta sits in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea just south of Sicily and east of Tunisia. This sun-kissed island's treasure is its stone, which earned Malta the name of Melita, 'the island of honey'.
Placed in spectacular locations, temples, underground chambers and figurines were dedicated to the Goddess. Hal Saflieni Hypogeum, Tarxien, Mnajdra, Hagar Qim and Ggantija are examples of this temple culture.
The tiny islands of Malta and Gozo have dozens of Neolithic sites, all pre-dating both Stonehenge and the Pyramids. We will explore these ancient sites and make a conscious connection with the spirit of place.
Renowned dowsers Hamish and Ba Miller will help us experience and understand earth energies and the power of place on this trip of a lifetime.
July 19th - 28th 2008
or August 1st - 10th 2008
Crop circles AND sacred sites, you get two tours in one!
England is blessed with many more crop circles than any other country. These stunning patterns, exhibiting sacred geometry and perennial wisdom, mysteriously appear overnight around a 5,000 year-old landscape temple. Join us and enter the circles in the fields as soon as they are reported to experience their energy for yourself; see the beauty of them from above in a small chartered helicopter and hear the experts' opinions at a respected crop circle conference.
Learn to dowse for Earth energies, walk within the hallowed sanctuary of Stonehenge, discover Silbury Hill and West Kennet Long Barrow within the awe-inspiring Avebury serpent temple, and explore Glastonbury in the mystical Vale of Avalon.
The July tour culminates with Glastonbury Symposium - 'Crop Circles & Signs of our Times'. The August tour begins with the highly informative Summer Crop Circle Lectures in Devizes.
May 15th - 24th 2008
Join us in exploring the stunningly beautiful isles that comprise the Hebrides off the western coast of Scotland.
Starting in the north at Callanish on Lewis, the tallest stone circle in Britain, we meander our way south through the many sacred Celtic sites of these islands. We will take the local ferry boats from island to island as we follow the energy flow and visit the powerful sacred sites on the isles of Lewis, Harris, North and South Uist, Mull, Iona and Arran.
On route we visit holy wells, stone circles, faery glens, chambered cairns, a former spiritual university of the Middle Ages, a serpent mound, an abbey, early saints churches, lochs, glens, mountains and ocean!
August 15th -24th 2008
Few places have such character and charm as the Emerald Isle. A profoundly spiritual land dating back beyond records, it is populated by a hospitable, gentle and witty race of folk.
Ireland was traditionally divided into four provinces or kingdoms located in the cardinal directions around the Stone of Destiny at Uisneach. Our journey will connect us to the energetic centre of each region passing through glorious countryside and traditional Irish towns as we travel through the provinces of Ulster, Connacht, Munster and Leinster.
As we approach the centre of the whole of Ireland Newgrange and Knowth cairns in the Boyne valley display the best Neolithic stone carvings in Europe. Atmospheric holy wells, enigmatic round towers, secluded stone circles and sacred hilltops are among some of the other treats in store for us.
These are journeys of discovery, personal quests and spiritual pilgrimages that take us along leylines to magical power centres in this enchanted landscape.
Join us at Stonehenge, Avebury, Glastonbury, Tintagel and more.
Experience the power and mystery of crop circles, stone circles, cathedrals, sacred groves, holy wells and castles.
Enjoy your visit - Glenn and Cameron Broughton
We also organise crop circle conferences in Wiltshire, England and in Vermont, USA.
