Silbury Hill

Just down the road we find the first component of the Avebury Landscape Temple in the form of the five thousand year old sacred site of Merlin's Mound. Later we visit the complementary site of Morgan's Hill. This sacred grove of trees holds strong feminine energy. We then move on to Silbury Hill and West Kennet Long Barrow, an underground structure used both as a tomb and a place of initiation, which has wonderful acoustics.

Day 3 - Saturday June 14th

Today we enter the Avebury Landscape Temple, the heart centre of megalithic Britain. The stone circle is just the central feature in a series of colossal earthworks spread over an area twelve miles across. The circle and its stone avenues formed a Serpent Temple. Avebury stone circle is the belly, we will also visit the head of the serpent at The Sanctuary and the tail at Knoll Down.

Stonehenge

We end the day with an evening visit to Stonehenge. We have arranged for the group to have private special access into the stones of the world's most famous sacred site. This is a rare opportunity to truly experience a site revered by countless generations.

Dinner in Amesbury on route to Stonehenge (included in tour price)

Day 4 - Sunday June 15th

Travel to West Penwith (tip of Cornwall) to our hotel for 3 nights.

We spend this afternoon at the home of master earth energy dowser Hamish Miller and his wife Ba. They will escort us up Trencrom Hill behind their house and introduce us to the energy currents of this land. A homemade cream tea afterwards is a very English delight.

Dinner at the hotel

Day 5 - Monday June 16th

We are drawn by the mysterious sounding names- Nanjizal Bay, Men-an-tol and Boscawen-Un and for good reason, because they have not only retained their Celtic names but also their power.

We start our day by walking to Nanjizal Bay where the earth energy currents of the St. Michael leyline first come ashore.

Boscawen-un

After lunch we visit Boscawen-Un stone circle, one of the three mighty Gorsedds of the Druidic bards, set in remote heathland. This intact stone circle is considered by many to be the most powerful in all England.

Free-choice dinner (not included in tour price)

Day 6 - Tuesday June 17th

Men-an-tol holed stone has been visited as a place of healing forever and is aligned with other sacred sites in this landscape. Crawl through the hole to receive healing energies yourself.

St Michael's Mount

St. Michael's Mount dominates the waters of Mounts Bay. We will cross over the shallow waters by the cobbled causeway on foot to arrive but have to leave by boat as the rising tide floods in. A former monastery, it plays an important role in the wisdom of this region.

Dinner in Penzance (not included in tour price)

Day 7 - Wednesday June 18th

We start today with a ritual 'baptism' at Sancreed holy well where we learn of the importance of water. Then hike up Sancreed Beacon to achieve 360 degree panoramic views of the whole area.

Wells Cathedral

Drive to Wells in Somerset to our hotel for three nights. Wells is built around the ancient marketplace where water flows from a wishing-well fountain. The water from the city's wells and springs runs in open gullies by the sidewalks in many of the central streets.

Free-choice dinner (not included in tour price)

Day 8 - Thursday June 19th

This is a free morning to explore the delights of Wells. . This splendid medieval city is one of England's best-kept secrets! The magnificent 800-year-old Cathedral stands next to the Bishop's Palace complete with it's moat and drawbridge.

Glastonbury Tor from Wearyall Hill
Glastonbury High Street
Glastonbury Abbey and St John's Church

We will spend the rest of this day just five miles down the road in Glastonbury - the legendary Isle of Avalon. We enter Avalon at Wearyall Hill where visitors would arrive by boat and we visit the site of the Holy Thorn Tree.

Glastonbury is full of unusual shops selling everything from candles and incense to colourful clogs and Goddess statues that you can peruse at your leisure during a long lunch break.

Our afternoon is spent at Glastonbury Abbey, the birthplace of Christianity in England and referred to as the 'holiest earth in England'. It was once the largest and most powerful abbey in all of Britain; and it is surely no coincidence that the dual energy currents of England's most famous leyline cross at the site of the high altar. A grave in the centre of the Abbey ruins is reputed to have been the resting place of King Arthur and Guinevere.

Dinner at the hotel

Day 9 - Friday June 20th

This morning we return to Glastonbury.

Rising dramatically from the flat land of the surrounding Somerset Levels, the huge natural mound of the Tor, surmounted by St. Michael's tower, has been a beacon of spirituality since pagan times and still acts as a magnet for people of all beliefs. You will hear the stories and the legends as well as experience the powerful energy and atmosphere of this sacred site. Plus the views from the top are spectacular!

Chalice Well

We conclude our tour at the beautiful and tranquil gardens of Chalice Well, one of the true healing places in this land where you are encouraged to drink from the holy well. Some believe that the Holy Grail is hidden within the wellhead. We will also visit the White Springs across the lane and note the different properties of the waters. There will be time for quiet contemplation and meditation at this very special sacred site.

Farewell dinner at the hotel
