TINTAGEL – Tintagel castle, Arthur's birthplace and now ruined, sits atop high cliffs leading down to Merlin's Cave on the beach below. The Halls of King Arthur have many lessons for us. St Nectan's Glen, with its waterfall and the saint's hermitage cell, is a truly magical experience. A hotel on the cliff top overlooking the Atlantic Ocean is our base on some tours.
